Professional filming at the historic sanctuary, with permits and logistics handled.
What you need to know
Before you shoot
Machu Picchu is one of the most requested locations in the world, and one of the most regulated. Filming there takes months of planning.
- Commercial filming requires authorization. The request goes to the Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura de Cusco (Ministry of Culture).
- The request includes the project, the production company, exact filming spots, dates and times, the crew list and the equipment.
- Entry tickets are limited. Buying them at least three months ahead is recommended.
- Access is by train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, then by bus up to the site.
- Drones are not allowed without a specific permit for the site.
Rules change. We confirm the current requirements for every project.

- We prepare and file the authorization request
- We coordinate tickets, trains, buses and lodging
- We plan the schedule around light and visitor crowds
- Local camera operator and crew
- Nearby Sacred Valley locations, such as Moray
